About Us
Save the Children is a non-governmental, international, democratic independent, non-profit, political and religious unconditioned organization which promotes the child’s rights in Republic of Moldova.
We activate in Republic of Moldova from 1992 and we are reregistered at the Ministry of Justice with nr. 0447 in 7 April 1998.
The fundamental objective of NGO “Save the Children” Moldova is implementing and monitoring of respecting the UN Convention concerning Child’s Rights, as well as awareness, influence and public opinion formation of in connection with children’s problems and their needs.
In all the actions which we undertake we place on the first plan the superior child’s interest, and our programs promote social services dedicated to helping children who are in difficult situations – orphan, abandoned, street children, refugee and applicants of asylum, unaccompanied children, ill-treated, abused, children victims of human beings trafficking and of the gravest forms of child’s work etc.
We are supporters of people’s moving and in this sense we link the efforts with those of others NGOs from the country and from the world who plead for improving the children’s situation.

In all the activities which we promote during the years we won the sympathy of more partners whom we are grateful first of all for trust. Those we go side by side with in solving the children’s situation from Republic of Moldova are:
We promote our ideas and programs through different methods, inclusively using the quality of National Council for Child’s Rights protection member. We hold the vice president place of work subgroup for prevention and fight against children’s trafficking of and very recently we accepted the participation in quality of member at the works of Consultative Group for elimination of child’s work.
